Wings played with effort and put up a good performance for the night. The only issue besides not scoring was passing up too many good chances trying to make an extra pass. Erne seemed to be all over the place, Abdelkader was solid and most were finishing checks. All in all, I’d take these losses all day long compared to some of the efforts lapses that we’ve seen.

It was quite a difference between the 2 nights. I don’t know if the Rangers played worse or the Wings played better but it was night and day.

For sure it was a bizarre set. I thought both teams brought in last night. The goalies were unreal. Just one of those things
